Thomas James Bacon

Thomas J. Bacon, 74, of Vineland passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2026 at his home.

Born in Jersey City, to the late James Bacon and Marion Tinsman Bacon, he was the husband of Mary Jane(Inky) Bacon. Thomas had been a long time resident of Millville, living in Bridgeton for a time and had moved to Vineland in 2020. He had retired from Durand Glass in 2000 due to his declining health, prior to that he had worked for the City of Millville. After he had retired he briefly bar tended at Lucia's in Vineland, and had dabbled in fish husbandry.

In his free time, he enjoyed photography, music, the Philadelphia Phillies, and NASCAR racing. He was also an avid fisherman, thoroughly enjoying his time on the water.

He is survived by; his wife Mary Jane Bacon of Vineland; children, Ryan Bacon (Jacquie) of Elmer, Stephanie Bacon of Newark, Christopher T. Bacon (Stephanie) of Millville, Philip Lynch (Susan) of Tabernacle and Michael Lynch (Wendy) of Pitman; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. The family would like to thank his many nurses, especially Glenda Solano and Kevin Patel, along with his grandson Tyler Lynch for the amazing love and care they had given to Thomas. He was preceded in death by; his parents, James and Marion Bacon, and his daughter, Ashley Lynch.
