Charles Herron Obituary
Charles Gabe Herron, 74, of Mineral Well, TX, passed away on Wednesday, October 16th, 2024, in Weatherford, TX.
The visitation will be Sunday, October 20, 2024, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home on Monday, October 21, 2024, at 10:00 AM, with Reverend Dr, Jimmy Braswell officiating. Burial to follow service at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Sunset Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home.
Charles Gabe Herron was born in Roswell, New Mexico, to Gabe and Martha Herron, on January 22, 1950. He went to school in Roswell, New Mexico. He married Diane on October 4, 1987, in Las Vegas, Nevada. They were happily married for 37 years. He had a lifelong career as a musician, with a love and passion for music/songwriting. He recorded several songs and played in clubs and at special events. He completed his career in the Oil and Gas Industry as a Graphic Designer and Pipeline Engineer. Charlie greatly enjoyed playing golf, fishing, strumming a guitar, and spending time with family.
He is proceeded in death by his father, Gabe Herron; mother, Martha Herron; brothers, Albert and Samuel Herron; and sisters, Maye, Faye, Betty, Margaret, Vicky, and Marilyn.
He is survived by his wife, Diane Herron; sons and their wives, Jeremy and Coby Herron, Steven and Kim Herron, Melvin and Kristy Herron, Tracy Braun, and Kyle and Jody Braun; along with several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy Herron, Steven Herron, Melvin Herron, Tracy Braun, Kyle Braun, and Sean Garza. Honorable Pallbearers will be Paul O’Brian and Rick Herron.
Memorials may be given to Sunset Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home.
