Charles Clifton Hill passed away Tuesday June 24, 2025.
Born April 15, 1938 to Frank and Thelma (Warfield) Hill in Maxwell, IA.
Clifton was born and raised in Maxwell, IA. He attended grade school and high school in Maxwell, IA.
Clifton served in the US Navy and Marines.
Clifton worked at the Atomic Energy Commission in Ames, IA as a Senior Research Technician. Clifton later moved to Jamestown, ND as Director of Operations for Dakota Bake and Serve. In 1979, he moved to Columbia, MO. In 1983, he opened "Hill's Distributing" selling heating and air conditioning equipment. Clifton and his wife Doris retired in 2003. They enjoyed the hobby of travel.
Clifton is preceded in death by his parents Frank and Thelma Hill, brother Murray Hill, sister-in-law Bernice Hill, and daughter Teresa Lynn Hill.
He is survived by: his wife of 52 years, Doris Hill, daughter Michel (Chad) O'Donnell, their children Chloe and Graci, son Matt (Miriam) Hill, their children Ryan, Aaron and Lauren, daughter Gina Cannon, her children Kindra and Cassidy, and grandson Austin Hill.

So sorry for your loss Doris I will never forget how you both stepped into "surrogate" parents after I lost my parents. I love you and will be praying for you. Looking forward to that heavenly reunion.
