Charles David “Charlie” Hougham, 57, formerly of Brookline, MA, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on February 21st, 2024. He was born on June 28, 1966, son of the late Norman M. and Mary Frances (Ruddy) Hougham.

Charles is survived by his daughter, Caitlynn Roraff, USN;  brother Francis “Frank” and wife Anne Hougham and children Christopher, Brianna, John-Michael, Monika and Faustina of Sterling, MA; brother Michael and wife Betty Ruddy and children Adriana, Michael, Gabriella and Kevin of Duluth, GA;  and Evelyn Foote and children Mark Jr., Robert (deceased) Dennis, and Heather of Bridgeport, CT. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, Charles was predeceased by his brother, William Hougham, of Brookline. 

Visiting hours will be held at St. Benedict Abbey, 252 Still River Road, Harvard, MA on Friday, March 1st from 4 – 7 pm. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Saturday, March 2nd at 10:30 am at the Abbey. Burial will be held in the Abbey cemetery with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Benedict Abbey, 252 Still River Road, Harvard, MA 01451 (www.abbey.org).
