Hower, Charles Eugene, 74, Hill Valley, passed away August 8, 2024, at UPMC Altoona. Born July 7, 1950, Hill Valley, son of the late Clinton and Lois (Snyder) Hower. Survived by his son, Shane M. Hower and wife, Paige; grandchildren, Vance Hower and Ava Hower; nephew, Frank Hower; and niece, Angela Belkin. Preceded in death by a brother, Gary Hower. Charlie was a 1968 graduate of Mount Union Area High School. He attended Lock Haven University. Charlie honorably served his country in the United States Army. He was an electrician by trade and retired from SCI Smithfield. Charlie was a former Mount Union Little League coach and Mount Union Elementary Wrestling coach. He enjoyed the outdoors and wildlife. Charlie was a motorcycle enthusiast and loved to ride his Harley Davidson. He was a music aficionado and liked to play guitar. In his retired life he was the owner of “Lose Your A$$ Lawncare and loved to mow grass. Family and friends will be received on Saturday August 17, 2024, from 10 a.m. until 12 noon, for a visitation. Arrangements have been entrusted to Heath-Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 61 E.
