Hughes, Charles W. Beloved husband of Donna Hughes (nee Hamblin) for 24 years. Loving father of Christina Salus (Evan), Shelia Hughes-Wright (Drew Mentzer), Jenny (Kelly) Mullins, Angie (Sonny) Jones and the late Shelly Cadle, Brother to Delila Stammer, The late Sheena Barbour & Walter Hughes.Also survived by Dave (Vicky) Cadle, Brian Edwards, Mora Haverland and J.J. Ridner.Cherished grandfather of Dale Eaton, Steven Eaton, Stephanie Eaton, Jessica Salus, Corinne Mentzer, Alexander Gebbie, Sara Mullins, Alana Mullins, Kelly (James) Wylds, Andy Jones, Drew Jones and Kayla Jones. Great-grandfather to Christopher, Waylon, Elizabeth and Ellie on the way. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousin and extended family. Passed away January 20, 2023 at the age of 76. Private family services have been held. A public celebration of life will take place at a future date to be announced. In lieu of flowers the family wishes to have memorial donations made to Beechgrove Baptist Church or to Disabled American Veterans (DAV). Condolences to hodappfuneralhome.com
