Charles "Mike" M. Kelly, 84, of Waverly, Ohio went to his heavenly home on Thursday, October 16, 2025. He was born on October 17, 1940 in Ironton, Ohio son of the late William and Carrie (Mowery) Kelly. On September 7, 1961 he was united to his first wife Sherry Lou Henderson Kelly who preceded him in death on October 3, 2012. On November 20, 2021 he married Barbara Wyant Kelly who survives. Also surviving are three sons, Bill (Teresa) Kelly of Charleston, South Carolina, Jim (Michelle) Kelly of Waverly and Mike (Jennifer) Kelly of Waverly; son-in-law, Mark (Ola) Rhoads of Piketon; nine grandchildren, CJ (Jared) Gillott, Danielle (Andrew) Bodager, Lexi (Timmy) Emmons, Devin (Brigette) Kelly, Tara (Hunter) Bishop, Grant Kelly, Aidan Kelly, Hudson Kelly and Mason Kelly; and nine great grandchildren. In addition to his parents and his first wife, Sherry, Mike was preceded in death by his daughter, Kristi Lou Rhoads and a brother, Steve Kelly.

Mike owned and operated Kelly Heating and Air for over 35 years, he worked at Mead Corporation for 28 years and Zane Trace High School for 11 years. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and Sunday school teacher. He also loved coaching church softball for several years.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at Calvary Baptist Church with Pastor Jon Black officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Union Cemetery on Denver Road, Waverly. Family will receive friends on Tuesday at the church from 11:00 – 1:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers the family wishes donations be made to Calvary Baptist Church, 212 Indian Ridge Drive, Piketon, Ohio.
