Charles Gillis "Gill" Kennington, 85, of Milton, Fl went to his eternal home in Heaven on March 11, 2026. He was born in Walton County, Fl on December 13, 1940, to the late William Jay and Frances Neal Kennington.

Gill is an Alumni of Allentown High School and was drafted into the U.S. Army in November of 1963. He served in Vietnam and was honorably discharged in 1965. For over 30 years he held a Civil Service job as a Water Treatment Operator at Several area Naval Bases.

Gill enjoyed many things such as hunting and fishing and growing and selling produce. He loved sports - he watched anything with a ball! But he seemed happiest cheering on the LA Dodgers Baseball Team.

He is survived by his daughter, Megan (Chris) McLean; granddaughter, Isabella (Richard) Hall; 3 grandsons, Kohlmyn, Mayson, and Rhyan McLean; and 2 great-granddaughters, Halen and Mackena Hall. 2 special nieces, Beverly Presley and Nadine (Chuck) Heath, as well as numerous other nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 15, 2026, at New Life Baptist Church, 6380 Bayberry Street, Milton, Florida 32570, with visitation from 2:30 - 3:30 p.m. and service at 3:30 p.m. Interment will be at Serenity Gardens.
