Charles Kisner Obituary

Published by Legacy on Jun. 29, 2024.
Charles "Chuck" Kisner passed away on June 22nd at 73 years old. He had 22 years of military service, 4 years with the Marine Corps and 18 years as a civil engineer with the Army. He was a Vietnam veteran and received 2 Meritorious Service Metals, 3 Army Commendation medals and 2 Army Achievement Medals over the course of his career. He retired from the Army at Fort Rucker in Enterprise Alabama in 1991 and continued his career with Lockheed Martin till 2015. Chuck moved to Fort Myers Florida in 2016 to be closer to his daughters.
Chuck and his family moved to many different bases during his military service and he always made a point to attend as many school activities such as coaching soccer and attending football games in support of his children. As his children grew up his grandchildren became his pride and joy.
He loved his dogs, Freckles and then Mitsy and always complained that he did not want Jeanie to bring home another one but they always ended up sleeping his bed.
Along with his love of the Atlanta Braves, Tom Clancy novels and the Weather Channel, Chuck loved to laugh and eat.
He is survived by his former wife of 36 years, Jeanie Kisner. Daughter Staci Cicero and her two children Ryan and Casey. Daughter Carie Rolon and her two children Zach and JC. Son Steve Kisner, and wife Raquel and their three children, Samantha, Brent and Tyler. Son Chris Kisner, and his wife Amber and their daughter Emmalee. Son Justin Kisner and wife Crystal and their two children Madison and Salvator.
His family will remember Chuck amongst themselves in their own way.
