Charles Ritchey Lathrem

October 24, 1931 - May 13, 2025

Versailles, Kentucky - Charles Ritchey Lathrem, husband of Vernia Goldey Lathrem passed away at Baptist Health Lexington, Kentucky on May 13, 2025.

He was born in Versailles, KY on October 24, 1931 to the late Carl Joseph and Sallie Gray Eaves Lathrem. He retired from the Woodford Bank and Trust Co., (now Community Trust Bank) as President and CEO after 46 years.

He and his wife of more than sixty-eight years were married on June 16, 1956 at Glen's Creek Baptist Church. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Pamela Lathrem Goins, Frankfort.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Friday, May 16, 2025 at Blackburn & Ward Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at Blackburn & Ward Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Versailles Cemetery.
