Charles Stephen Leach, 78, of Lincoln, walked the road to his Heavenly Father on Tuesday (11-17-09). Charlie was born on September 26, 1931 to Joseph D. & Amy M. (Trollope) Leach in Rural Phelps County, Nebraska. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, and retired from Fleming Foods after 45 years. Survivors: Wife of 59 years: Lois Leach, Lincoln Sons & Daughters-in-law: Donald & Deborah Leach, Danbury, NE Dale & Louisa Leach, Lincoln Daughters & Sons-in-law: Connie & Dan McCarter Carla & Rod Skov Linda & Mike Soulliere Mary Jo & Mike McCain All of Lincoln LuAnne & Steve Cook, Cheyenne, WY 19 grandchildren, 13 step-grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren, 18 step-great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, 1 step-great-great-grandchild, 5 adopted great-grandchildren. Brothers & Sisters-in-law: Ervin & Deloris Leach, Chappell, NE Paige & Irene Leach, Bertrand, NE Sisters: Dorothy Bachman, Holdrege, NE Mary Chada, North Platte, NE Elta Kern, Minden, NE Preceded in death by: 1 grandaughter, 1 great-granddaughter, Parents, 2 brothers, 1 sister. Funeral Services: 10:00AM, Friday, November 20, 2009 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 724 South 12th Street. Visitation: Thursday, 11am to 8pm, with the family greeting friends from 6pm to 8pm, all at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 6800 South 14th Street.
