Charles W. Liles

Charles (Chuck) W. Liles, age 66, passed away unexpectedly on March 7, 2026. He was a hardworking and dedicated employee of many Food chains such as Giant Open Air, Farm Fresh, and Food Lion where he retired. He studied Civil War history and in his spare time was a treasure hunter, finding artifacts and Civil War memorabilia. Chuck was known for his meticulous attention to detail and unshakable dependability regardless if he was on the clock or not. Chuck always said that if a job was worth doing it was worth doing right. Chuck was a member of Bible Believers Baptist Church.

Chuck is survived by his four closest cousins, Brenda Smith, Paul Liles, Melvin Liles Jr, and Charles K. Liles. He is also survived by many long distant cousins.

A memorial service to honor his life will be held at Bible Believers Baptist church on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at 7 PM. His remaining family members would like to thank the church for all their support. In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to the Bible Believers Church.
