Charles Manders Obituary
Charles "Chuck" R. Manders, 56, of Maumee, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on February 14, 2026, at The University of Toledo Medical Center. He was born on October 20, 1969, in Toledo, Ohio, to James and Kathleen (Harmon) Manders. Chuck was a proud graduate of Central Catholic High School, Class of 1988.
Chuck was a devoted husband, loving father, and proud "Pop Pop." He found great joy in watching sports, golfing with his sons, and taking pride in caring for his yard. He dedicated many years of service to Walmart, working at several locations throughout his career, and most recently serving as a Team Lead in Holland.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Manders; and his in-laws, Wayne and Sandra Cook.
Chuck is survived by his beloved wife of 27 years, Cynthia "Cindy" (Cook) Manders; his mother, Kathleen "Kathi" Manders; his children, Lauren (Justin) Hennessey, Megan Cook (Will), Cameron Manders (Vanessa), Dustin Manders (Kiersten), and Jordan Manders; his sister, Jacki Manders; his brother, Kenny Manders; six cherished grandchildren; his sister-in-law, Katy Cook; and his loving Huskies, Spyro, Mocha, and Latte.
Family and friends will be received at Bersticker-Scott Funeral Home, 3453 Heatherdowns Blvd., on Sunday, February 22, 2026, from 2:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 23, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., with interment to follow at Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery. Chuck was a one of a kind man. I was a rep in the store he worked at. He will be missed and I will miss him greatly. Blessings to his family, he was too young.
