It is with deep sadness and love that we announce the passing of Fotios “Charles” Many, who left us peacefully on Friday, December 13, 2024, at approximately 4:00 p.m. at 80 years of age. Charles was born on October 19, 1944, in Monroe, Louisiana to Edward Phillip Many and DeLois Pace Many.
Charles was a person who brought light and love to everyone he encountered. He was known for his innate ability to connect with others. He had a giving and kind nature and was always ready to offer a helping hand or a warm word. Charles had a passion for fishing, woodworking, studying his Bible and making all of those around him laugh. He was deeply committed to his God, his wife, family, and his church.
As a husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and uncle, Charles will be remembered for his unwavering love, dedication, and support. He was a loving and devoted husband to Jeanette who had been his best friend and loving wife for 60 years. Charles made a lasting impact on the lives of all who knew him.
Charles is survived by the love of his life and best friend, Jeanette Liner Many, his sons, Phillip Many (Bobby) and Chad Many; his daughter, Cindy Stewart (Bee); along with his grandchildren, Kellyn Rose (Henry), Jake Stewart (Kate), and Chad Many. Also cherishing his memory are the fans of his Fe-Fo-Le stories, his great grandchildren, Hattie Rose, Judah Rose, Ravi Rose, Miriam Rose, Selah Rose, and Gwendolyn Stewart. Charles will be missed deeply by his family members and close friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his Charles’ honor to Jackson Street Church of Christ (1103 Jackson St, Monroe, LA 71202) or St. Jude’s’s Children’s Hospital (stjude.org), which were dear to Charles’ heart.
