Rev. Dr. Charles E. McDaniel, 88, of Reedville, VA, went to be with his Heavenly Father on Nov. 27, 2025.
Charles graduated from High School in Kenbridge, VA in 1956. After graduation, he served 4 years in the Navy aboard the U.S.S. Franklin D. Roosevelt (CV-42). During his time in the Navy, he accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior. Following his time in the Navy, he attended and graduated Washington Bible College & Capital Bible Seminary with his Master’s degree then chose to enter God’s service. While at WBC, he met his loving wife of 63 years Illa Faye Hilldebrand Eastlake. In 1992 he graduated with his Doctorate in Theology from International Seminary in Orlando, Florida. God blessed his ministry in many churches which he loved and was excited to have been on a mission trip to Africa.
Charles is preceded in death by his father and mother Charlie Jennings & Dorothy Elizabeth McDaniel; sister, Peggy Walker; brother in-law, Grove Walker, and his brother, Kenneth McDaniel.
He is survived by his wife, Illa Faye McDaniel; sister in-law, Joyce McDaniel, many nieces and nephews, who he loved and adored. His children, Michael David McDaniel & his wife Julie Elizabeth McDaniel and his daughter Michelle M. Farley & her husband Jimmy Farley. His grandchildren Joshua McDaniel, James Farley & his wife Caitlyn, Jordan McDaniel and wife Carissa and Jacob McDaniel. And by his great grand children and the light of his life, Kaleb, Sadie, Olive, Owen, Lukas and Parker.
Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Dec 6, 2025, at Spring Hill Baptist Church, Buckley Hall Rd, Cobbs Creek, VA. 23035.
