Charles McLaughlin Obituary
Charles J. "Chuckie" McLaughlin, 63, of Summit Hill, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 5, 2026, in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Carbon Campus, Franklin Township. He was the long-time companion of Janet Wildoner of Summit Hill.
Born in Palmerton, he was the son of late Charles and Joyce (Maurey) McLaughlin.
He was a 1981 graduate of Panther Valley High School.
Chuckie worked as a welder in the local coal industry for several years.
He was a former member of St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church, Lansford. Chuckie was an avid hunter and enjoyed riding his quad.
Surviving along with his companion, Janet, are a son, Michael McLaughlin and his wife, Brandy, of Coaldale; a daughter, Samantha Wildoner of Summit Hill; sisters, Eileen McLaughlin of Summit Hill, Patty Coleman and her husband, John, of Zion Grove, and Kathleen Nahf and her husband, Vincent, of Lehighton; grandchildren, Ella and Emma; and several nieces and nephews.
Service: Memorial Mass of Christian Burial, 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 11, St. Joseph Parish of the Panther Valley, 462 W. Ludlow St., Summit Hill. Call 9:30-11 a.m. Wednesday in the church. Interment will be held privately at a later date. Contributions in his memory may be made to the Carbon County Animal Shelter, 63 Broad St., Nesquehoning, PA 18240. Funeral arrangements have been placed in the care of the Parambo Funeral Home, Summit Hill. Online condolences may be shared at www.parambofh.com.
