Charlie was often referred to, as "Shorty". He loved God and was grateful for all of his blessings. He was so proud that he served in the Air Force and he was lovingly cared for in hospice, at Jefferson Barracks, in St. Louis, MO. He loved learning about all things and he believed that a person is never too old to learn. Throughout his career, he sold insurance, was a Real Estate agent, Broker, Appraiser for residential and commercial properties and a HUD inspector. Shorty collected beer steins, rocks and gems. He also made and sold jewelry, and often painted scenery on canvas and saw blades. He took many online courses in his 80's and 90's, learning about copy writing. Shorty was a loving husband, father and grandfather and was very proud of his family. He was loved by so many and will be sadly missed. Shorty's humor, wit and stories will live on for years to come.
