Charles Jerome Miller

Charles Jerome Miller, age 86 of New Boston, Texas passed away at his home on January 6, 2025. Mr. Miller was born May 11, 1938, in Lakeview, South Carolina to Charles and Evelyn Miller. He was retired from managing a Paper Mill at Valiant, Oklahoma and a member of the First Baptist Church, New Boston. Starting his Masonic membership in Idabel, Oklahoma, Charles was a lifetime member of the New Boston Masonic Lodge #69 where he was a 50 Year Mason, served as Chaplain, a 3rd Degree Scottish Rites and member of the New Boston Chapter 700 Order of the Eastern Star.
Preceding him in death are his parents and a brother and sister in law, Lance and Elizabeth Miller and brother in law Billy Dail.
Mr. Miller will always be remembered for his faithful duties as a Mason, being a wonderful Daddy and Grandpa as well as riding his golf cart around the streets of New Boston with his little dog.
Surviving Charles are his children, Mike and wife Lori Miller of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, Lisa and husband Tater Strawn of Idabel, Oklahoma, Andy and husband Bart Craytor of New Boston, Texas, Brother Wendel and wife Edna Miller, a sister, Brenda Dail, the Mother of his children, Barbara Ann Passmore of Idabel, Oklahoma and his grandchildren, Tara and husband Eric Number of Idabel, Oklahoma, Angie Miller DallaRosa of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, Jack and wife Madison Lundry of New Boston, Texas, his great grandchildren, Zoe, Tate, Bryce, Abby, Averie, Emerson and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will take place 2:00 P.M., Saturday, January 11, 2025, at the First Baptist Church, New Boston, Texas with Bro. Patrick Hunter and Bro. Tommy Van Deaver officiating. Interment will be in Daniels Chapel Cemetery, New Boston under the direction of Bates Rolf Funeral Home, New Boston. Visitation will be from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. before services at the church.
