Charles A. Mudgett of Waukesha passed away on Sunday, February 1, 2026 at the age of 93. He was born in Ottawa, WI on January 6, 1933 the son of John and Lydia (nee Thuroff) Mudgett. Charles proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a longtime member of St. William Catholic Church and was an avid golfer.
He will be sadly missed by his children, Diane Mudgett, Patricia (Kirk) Shepard and James (Kelley) Mudgett, 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He is further survived by other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 64 years, Marilyn and son, John Mudgett.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2026 from 10:00AM until the 11:00AM funeral service at Corpus Christi Parish-St. William Church, 440 N. Moreland Blvd. Waukesha, WI 53188. Burial will immediately follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
