Charles T. Nichols, age 58, loving son, departed this life on June 18, 2023 to go on his next great adventure. Charles was born on August 2, 1964, in Flint, MI, to Stewart & Ruby (Teague) Nichols. Charles had lived in Flint, Swartz Creek and Trenton, MI before moving to Standish. Charles graduated from Durand High School in 1982. He was a Registered Nurse after attending Mott Community College. Charles earned a degree in Healthcare Administration, Summa Cum Laude, at Baker College.
Charles worked at several jobs including, semi-truck/cross country driving and construction. His true passion was helping others, which is why he became a nurse. Charles was the loving son of Stewart (Nick) Nichols and Ruby Teague Nichols.
He leaves behind: brother, Thomas Nichols (Melissa Roberts), sister, Alanna and Tony Mills, half-brother and sister, Craig VanDyke, and Deanna Boggs. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and many cousins. Special nephews and nieces, Jentry Speck and Kaylee Thompson, Trenton, Ashton, Cameron, Cassi, Melina, Audrey, Serenity, and Kayleigh Roberts. Charles is preceded in death by a special nephew, Joshua M.R. Mills.
Per his wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life will take place later. In memory of Charles, be kind to others and the family would like to extend a sincere "Thank You" to Compassus Hospice and their caring staff.
