He was born in Philadelphia, PA in 1949 to the late, Charles W., Jr. and Alene C. (Eshelman) Oettel.
Chick was a member of the Elks Lodge #970 in Bristol and the past president and member of the Bristol Borough Independent Pool League. He also enjoyed collecting coins, gardening, bowling and his beloved Philadelphia Phillies.
Besides his parents, Chick was predeceased by sister, Dorothy Emmons and her late husband, Fred and his brother in law, Robert Whipple.
He leaves behind, to cherish his memory, his sisters, Alene Whipple and Jennifer Oettel, as well as, several nieces, nephews and friends.
Friends and relatives are invited to his visitation on Thursday, September 14, 2023 from 6:00pm - 8:00pm at Molden Funeral Chapel, 133 Otter Street, Bristol, PA 19007. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Chick's honor to the charity of your choice.
