Charles E. "Chuck" Padgett, 78, of Hunlock Creek and Kingsland, Ga., died Sept. 12, 2025. Surviving is his wife, the former Sandra Talarski. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, 2011 PA Route 29, Hunlock Creek (Lake Silkworth). Arrangements are in the care of Dinelli Family Funeral Home, Nanticoke.

We all are grateful for your stepping up to the plate when your country needed you the most. America thanks you for your service to our country in the defense of freedom. The final volley has sounded and taps is about to begin, ending a successful career as a nation´s defender. Farewell fellow veteran.
