Charles Pas Obituary

Published by Legacy from Aug. 7 to Aug. 12, 2025.
We gather to honor the life of Charles Ten Pas, fondly known to many as Chuck "Bobby." Born on March 31, 1936, in Waukegan, IL, he moved to Randle, Washington, where he has made his home for the past 46 years. His journey of 89 years came to a close on August 4, 2025. As Charles Dickens once said, "It is not the length of life, but the depth," and Chuck "Bobby" lived a life full of depth, leaving a lasting impact on those fortunate enough to have shared in his journey. Chuck "Bobby" dedicated his life to education and served his community for many years as the School District Superintendent. He was a beacon of light, guiding generations of young minds towards success with unwavering dedication and exceptional leadership. As Henry Adams once said, "A teacher affects eternity; he can never tell where his influence stops." Chuck "Bobby's" influence will continue to resonate in the hearts and minds of those he educated and inspired throughout his illustrious career. He was a loving and devoted husband to his wife, Geraldine Pas, and an incredible father to their three daughters, Janice Chittenden, Tina Nelson, and Kimberly Bell. His love and devotion to his family knew no bounds, and his memory will forever be etched in their hearts. Chuck "Bobby" was preceded in death by his father, Vivian Pas, and his mother, Janet Berg. Their loving memories, coupled with his own, will forever be cherished. A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 11, 2025, at 1:00 pm PDT at the Silver Creek Cemetery, located at National Forest Development Road 47, Randle, Washington, 98377. We invite you to join us as we celebrate the life of Chuck "Bobby." As we remember and celebrate Chuck "Bobby," we encourage you to share your memories, stories, and pictures on his memorial page. Your shared experiences will serve as a beautiful tribute to a life well-lived.
