Shirley Evans

Shirley Ann Evans passed peacefully at the age of 90 on February 8, 2026. Shirley was born to William and Idoline Board on July 31, 1935. She grew up in Boise Creek and graduated from Enumclaw High School in 1954. Shirley married her high school sweetheart, Jack Evans in 1955.

Shirley and Jack created a home in Enumclaw. They raised three daughters, Cindy, Jolene and LeAnn. Shirley and Jack built their home "ain't my turn ranch" in Veazie, where they resided for over forty years. Shirley was active with her family and Jaycee Women's Auxiliary.

After Jack's passing in 2019, Shirley became a part of the wonderful family at Cascade Place. The staff at Cascade treated Shirley as if she was their own Grandmother, with love and affection.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, sister Billie and Bill Baum, and her love Jack Evans. She is survived by her daughters, Cindy Todnem (Bob Gallo), Jolene Irwin and LeAnn Evans. Shirley leaves her sister Vicki Adamski (Norm), and several nieces and nephews whom she cared for greatly.

No services will be held. The family asks that you remember the fun and special times that you had with Shirley.
