Charles Victor Pedigo passed away on December 30, 2024. He was 87 years old.
Born on July 7, 1937, Charles, also affectionately known as "Chach," was a lifelong resident of Glasgow. He attended Glasgow High School and worked for Western Kentucky Gas Company for 40 years. After retiring from the gas company, Charles drove a bus for Glasgow Independent Schools, and he served as a deacon for many years at Immanuel Baptist Church. Whether working on a gas line, driving a bus, or serving his church, Charles created laughter and joy with his keen sense of humor and deep devotion to friends and family.
He was married to Jerolynn Reagan on April 13, 1956. Throughout their 66 years of marriage, Charles and Jerry lived out their faith through service to others, offering support and kindness to so many during times of hardship.
He is survived by his daughter Sharon (Gary) Gardner; grandsons Matt (Heather) Gardner and Chuck (Brittany) Gardner; and great-grandchildren Abe Gardner, and Charli, Raelyn, & Mattie Jay Gardner. He is also survived by nieces Vicki Poore, Lesli (Danny) Norris, Allison Watkins, Kim Trent, nephew Scott Pedigo, close cousin Clifton Elmore, sister-in-law Bobbie Sue Pedigo, faithful caregivers Heather Hammon and Rachel Wheeler, as well as many great nieces and nephews, all of whom he dearly loved.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Jerolynn Pedigo; his parents, Owen and Nola Pedigo; and by his siblings, Wiliam Pedigo, Daniel Pedigo, and Helen Button.
Funeral services will be held at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home, on Saturday, January 4th, at 1:00 p.m., with visitation beginning at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery.
