Charles Lee Phillips, age 65 of Oliver Springs, TN, passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2025, after a short but courageous battle with cancer. Charles cherished his family. His grandchildren were his world. Charles loved to aggravate, tell jokes, and make people laugh. He always brought light to a dark day. He was supportive and comforting and made you feel safe. Charles also loved riding motorcycles with family and friends, fishing, feeding the birds and wildlife as well as fixing and building various things. He was preceded in death by his parents, Buster and Mary Magdalene Phillips; brothers, Gary, Buster, and Robert Phillips and sister, Linda Phillips.
Charles is survived by his wife of 27 years, Pam Phillips; sons, Steven Phillips and wife April, and Sean Phillips; step daughter, Victoria Smith; brother, David Phillips and wife Callie; brother-in-law, Paul Smith and wife Susan; sisters, Mary Ann Goins and husband Michael, Vickie Aslinger, Karen Isabel and husband Tom, Rebecca Phillips, and Debbie Weldon; grandchildren, Bradley and Alyssa as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Charles’ family will receive friends on Monday, October 20, 2025, from 5:00pm – 7:00pm at Jones Mortuary in Clinton, TN. Funeral services will immediately follow at 7:00pm with Pastor Thomas Vanand officiating. Graveside service and interment will be Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at 11:00am at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens in Powell, TN.
