Charles George Pretschold, Jr.

Passed away peacefully in his home on the night of February 13th, 2025 at the age of 79. He was born on November 24th, 1945 in Milwaukee to parents Charles and Agnes Pretschold. He was a proud resident of Oak Creek, WI and was a 1964 graduate of Notre Dame High School.

In 1974 Charles married the love of his life and is now reunited with his late wife, Susan Pretschold. Upon his death, Charles was surrounded by his loving daughters Jennifer (Nicholas) Wintergerst, Dana Norton, and Amanda Pretschold, along with his grandchildren Hannah Norton, Austin Norton, and Mason Pretschold. He will also be dearly missed by his cousins, in-laws, nieces, nephews, as well as by close friends.

He was a devoted worker to the United States Postal Service for 45 years, leaving many fond memories and service behind. Charles was one of a kind and known to share a laugh with everyone he encountered. He had a love for the ocean, especially watching the boats that would coast on the water. 

At home he was known to love coffee with his favorite television programs, The Price is Right and General Hospital. When March came around, many could find him with a bag of peanuts and a bottle of Heineken in hand enjoying his favorite baseball team, the Milwaukee Brewers. 

Visitation will be held at Max A. Sass & Sons-Mission Hills Chapel (8910 W. Drexel Ave., Franklin, WI 53132) on Sunday, February 23rd starting at 12 Noon until time of service at 2PM. The burial will take place at St. Peter Cemetery in Franklin the following day, Monday February 24th at 11AM, please meet at the cemetery.
