Charles Donald Pruett, 90, of Burleson, passed away Saturday October 25, 2025
in Burleson.
Charles was born on August 20, 1935 in Fort Worth Texas to Alee and Della Pruett.
He had three passions in life, home missions, music and service to his Country.
Charles was a self-taught musician teaching himself to play the violin and guitar. He
also enjoyed singing and whistling at Church and Senior Centers. Charles served in
the Marine Corp from 1953-1957 and the Air Force from 1957-1974.
Charles is survived by his wife of 67 years, Sharon Pruett; son Earl Pruett and wife Debbie,
son Bill Pruett and wife Denna, son Mike Pruett and wife Tracy, 12 Grandchildren,
16 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great Great Grandchildren.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents, son Donald L. Pruett, three sisters, brother and
four Great Grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation for Home Missions in Charles' Name
to Boulevard Baptist Church at 315 N. Burleson Blvd. Burleson Texas 76028.
