Charles Milsen Reading, 85, formerly of Lititz, died Friday July 19, 2024 at Keystone Villa, Ephrata, where he was a resident. Born in Pottsville on February 14, 1939, he was the son of the late Joseph and Dorothy (Childs) Reading. Charlie married his lovely wife Luise (Wubbena) Reading on November 23, 1968. After serving in the U.S. Navy, he worked for the former RCA – General Electric – Burle Industries, and later for the Manheim Auto Auction. Charlie was a loving, faithful husband, father and “Pop-Pop”. He was a member of the Akron United Zion Church and Lodge #587 F&AM Manheim. 

 Surviving in addition to his wife Luise is a daughter Judi, son Karl, four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and a brother Francis. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son Timothy, a brother Kenneth, and a great -granddaughter Raelyn.

 A Celebration of Life service will be held at a future date. Memorial contributions may be sent to, Greater Pennsylvania Chapter of Alzheimer’s Association, 2595 Interstate Drive, Suite 100, Harrisburg PA 17110 or Vision Corps 244 North Queen Street, Lancaster PA 17603.
