Charles dedicated 37 years of his life to the railroad industry, working as a Maintenance Foreman for CSX, where he was respected and valued for his hard work and dedication. He found great joy in attending his grandson Reno's baseball games, often cheering from the sidelines with enthusiasm that resonated with everyone. Charles had a vibrant spirit, filled with love for sports, NASCAR, and leisurely games of dominoes, where laughter and friendly competition brought family and friends together. He also enjoyed traveling across the United States with Janice as they visited family and famous landmarks from Georgia to California and many points in between.
Charles was also an active member of the Poplar Springs Baptist Church, where he built lasting relationships and gave back to his community in meaningful ways. His faith and kindness left an indelible mark on all who knew him.
