I just learned of Charles' passing. I knew him as a student in 1983 when we both were brand new at Christopher Newport college in Newport news VA. I quickly bonded with him and realized very quickly how talented he was. I remember he always said" Dont bring me problems, bring me solutions!" I still use this quote to this day with people on my teams! I just recently found some pictures of the sets he designed at CNC , Death of a Salesman, Godspell and Medea. They were all broadway quality sets! very talented indeed.

Charles was a very talented individual. As my cousin, our families spent a great deal of time together. We would talk often about the history and the origins of our family in Italy. I enjoyed our conversations.
