Charles Thomas Richardson

Charles Thomas Richardson, son of Charlie Lee Richardson and Christine Allen Whaley, was born on April 8th 1955 in Nash county. He departed his earthly life on July 15th 2025. Charles was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. He graduated from Southern Nash High School. He was a trustee at Rock Hill Baptist Church. He worked at Hardees for many years he loved working for Hardees after retiring from Hardees he got a part time job at Nash County Solid and Waste. He loved going to the Stockyard on Friday mornings and having his weekly breakfast with his son. Charles loved meeting new people and never met a stranger. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie Lee Richardson and Christine Allen Whaley, two sisters Deborah Richardson and Cathy Battle, and one brother George Richardson. He leaves to cherish his memories: wife Mabel Richardson of the home, one son Charles Thomas Richardson (Lashonda) of Wendell, NC, one daughter Trudy Massenburg of the home; Five granddaughters Justice Massenburg of the home, Iasia Richardson of Zebulon, NC, Jasmine Owens of Wendell, NC, Shamya Bizzell of La Grange, NC, and Catherine Padilla of Rocky Mount, NC. Two Great Granddaughters Summer and Autumn Richardson of Zebulon, NC. Five Sisters Betty Morris, Irene Andrews, Sylvia Richardson of Spring Hope, NC, Velma Richardson of Rocky Mount, NC, and Glenda Clifton, of Louisburg, NC.Host of Nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. A visitation will be held at 1:00pm on Monday, July 21, 2025. The service will follow at 2:00pm in the chapel. Burial will follow the service at Forest Hill Cemetery.
