Charles "Keith" Robbins, Age 95, of Columbia Crossroads, PA and formerly of Wellsburg, NY, passed away December 25, 2022, at the Bradford County Manor. Keith was born July 15, 1927, in Big Pond, PA son of the late Carl & Verna (Leonard) Robbins. For many years Keith and his late wife Kathryn worked side-by-side, owning and operating the Finger Lakes Motel and the Queen Catherine Motel as well as other motels in West Virginia prior to their retirement. Keith was a 70-year member of the Ondawa Grange and Charter Member of the Big Pond Lions Club.
Survivors include his daughters, June & Jack Prince of Michigan, and Sylvia & Kevin Kennedy of Florida, a son, Calvin & Susan Robbins of Virginia, 16 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins and special caregiver, Jamie Ames of Sylvania, PA.
Keith was predeceased by his parents, loving wife Kathryn (Garrett) Robbins, two brothers Leland Robbins and Vernon "Spike" Robbins, stepdaughter Kathleen Cadek, and granddaughter Melissa Cadek Bernas.
In abiding with Keith's wishes his body will be donated to Medical Research and a memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM, Thursday, January 12, 2022 at the Big Pond United Methodist Church, Big Pond Road. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery, Big Pond, PA. The Roberts Funeral Home, Inc. 279 Main Street, Wellsburg, NY is handling arrangements.
