Charles Roo Obituary

Charles grew up and attended Sault High School. After school, he worked at the Sault Evening News as a typesetter. He married Magaret LaPrairie and they raised their family in Sault Ste. Marie. He changed careers and went to work for Lake Superior State College in their maintenance department and retired in 1989.
Charles was a member of the Commercial Bowling League.
Charles enjoyed watching western movies, playing poker, hunting and bowling.
Charles is survived by his son, Tim (Angel) Roo of Sault Ste. Marie; daughter, Sally (Jason) Temple of Sevierville, Tennessee; and grandson, Jordan Temple.
Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret; parents, William and Mary; and brothers, Art Roo and Jim Roo.
Memorial Contributions may be made in honor of Charles to MyMichigan Medical Center Sault Long Term Care, 500 Osborn Blvd, Sault Ste. Marie, MI 49783.
Charles' final resting place will be at the Oaklawn Chapel Gardens, in Bruce Township, Michigan, in the Spring of 2025.
Family Life Funeral Homes assisted the family with arrangements. Condolences may be left to the family at www.familylifefh.com.
