Sherry De Roo, age 72, of Zeeland, passed away Sunday, December 24 at her home following a nine month battle with cancer.
Sherry was an avid reader and worked at Family Fare in Zeeland for 40 years, most recently as a pharmacy clerk. She was also a member of Community Reformed Church.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Colleen Kooiker; brothers-in-law, Calvin De Roo and Doug De Roo; and uncle, Ted Kooiker.

A private family burial in Zeeland Cemetery (Felch St.) is planned. A time of public visitation is scheduled for 2:00-4:00pm Friday, December 29 at Community Reformed Church, 10376 Felch St, Zeeland. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Holland. Arrangements are by Yntema Funeral Home and condolences may be left online at www.yntemafh.com.
