Karl Stob Obituary
He is survived by his children Karla and Jack Palmbos, Lori Stob, and Julie Alkema and Ric Arendsen, his daughter-in-law Deborah Stob, 8 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren, his siblings Marilynn Rice, Peter Stob, James and Mary Stob, and Sandra Stob.
Karl was preceded in death by his wife Marian, and his son David. Karl proudly served his country during the Korean War in the United States Army serving in the military police. After his time in the service Karl was a police officer at the Holland Police Department. After his time at the police department he drove redi-mix truck for De Went Gravel until his retirement. Karl was also an avid golfer and even got two holes in one.
Visitation will be 12:30-1:30 pm Friday, March 6, 2026, at Yntema Funeral Home, 251 South State Street, Zeeland with his funeral service and military honors to follow at 2 pm. Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Faith Hospice. www.yntemafh.com
