Charles J Rosone

Charles J Rosone age 81 of Ridgefield, New Jersey passed away on August 12, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Brooklyn, New York to the late Angela and S. Charles Rosone. In 1952 his family moved to Ridgefield and he was a resident ever since. Charles was also part of the first graduating class of Ridgefield Memorial High School.
Before retiring Charles worked for Drakes Bakery as a salesman for many years. After his retirement Charles spent many nights bartending at Tracey's Nine Mile House. The love he had for his community and the people of Ridgefield led him to become a member of the Ridgefield Volunteer Fire Department for 18 years, where he attained the rank of Captain. He was also a
member of the District 16 Lions Club. He truly loved being a frequent customer of Café Tivoli where he enjoyed the company of his friends and was known by many as "The Chairman of the Board'
Charles is predeceased by his wife Lana, loving father to his sons Edward and his wife Donna. and Steven and his wife Stacey. Loving grandfather to Michael and his wife Lauren, Ashley and her fiancé James, Nicholas and his girlfriend Lindsey. Tyler and Samantha. Beloved Papa Chuck to his great grandchildren Evelyn and Elliott. Beloved brother of Anthony and his wife Ann, JoAnn McGuire and her husband Richard.
Beloved Uncle of many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Beloved friend to all.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at Blackley Funeral Home, 809 Broad Ave., Ridgefield, NJ, on Tuesday, August 16, from 1 to 3 PM, and 5 to 9 PM. Gathering on August 17, at 9:30 AM, before funeral mass at 10:30 AM at Madonna Church on the Hill next to Madonna Mausoleum, entombment to follow at Madonna Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Judes in memory of Charles Rosone.
