Charles C. Salas entered into eternal rest on May 28, 2024, in Chaparral, NM. Charlie, as he was affectionately known, was a devoted husband, a loving and supportive father, a cherished son to his parents, a loyal brother to his siblings, and a brave soldier who served our country with honor.
Above all else, Charlie loved his family fiercely. He was their rock and biggest cheerleader, and the one who knew how to make them laugh even on the toughest days. The family will forever cherish the many gatherings at BBQs, trips to the beach, fishing and camping trips, and the casino. He is survived by his beloved wife Teresita Salas; sons Charles Salas Jr., Cedric Salas, and Efraem Salas. Charlie’s grandchildren Gianni, Makayla, and Angel honor his memory.
Charlie served his country with immense pride in the US Army, safeguarding the freedoms we cherish and ensuring a better future for his family. His dedication and bravery are a great inspiration.
Charlie leaves an imprint on the hearts of those who knew him, which will never fade. He will be missed more than words can express, but comfort will be found in countless special memories. Rest in peace, dearest Charlie.
