Charles "Chuck" Salisbury, affectionately known as Buzzy, of Elm Grove, WI, was born on December 16, 1938, and entered into eternal life on September 17, 2025.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Dorothy (née Lamboy) Salisbury, and his brother, Stanley Salisbury.

Chuck is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Barbara Ann (née Matasek) Salisbury; his sister, Mary Susan (Roger) Gross; nephews and nieces Michael (Lea Ann) Salisbury, Patrick (Gigi) Salisbury, Daniel (Mae Ann) Salisbury, Kathleen (Sam) Scalise, Andrew Salisbury, Lawrence (Carrie) Salisbury, Daniel (Jessica) Gross, Jean (C. Luke) Reuter, Deborah (R. Scott) Quinn and David (Catherine) Markl and; sister-in-law Faye (Paul) Miller; and dear extended family members, Curt Wadina, Derek (Maria) Wadina, and their sons, Cole and Rylan.

Born and raised in Milwaukee, Chuck spent his career in the food service industry, specializing in meat and seafood. He began in the grocery business and went on to work for Becker Foods, Empire Fish, Dierks Waukesha and retired from US Foods. He was a proud member of the Wisconsin Restaurant Association and many other food service trade organizations. Chuck took great pride in going above and beyond to serve his customers and cherished the friendships he built throughout his career.

Chuck shared a beautiful life with his one and only, Barbie. Together, they were surrounded by a large circle of family and lifelong friends. He was well known for hosting memorable dinner parties, always serving his signature Manhattans and Old Fashioneds. Never at a loss for words, Chuck relished a good conversation and meaningful connection.

A man of deep faith, Chuck began his spiritual journey as an altar boy in grade school and, as an adult, faithfully spent time in the Adoration Chapel at St. Mary's Visitation Parish. His devotion was evident in all aspects of his life, and he was honored to be chosen as a godparent to many.

Chuck had a lifelong passion for wine and often said, "I like what wine is all about." He will be fondly remembered for always bringing the wine to gatherings, ensuring everyone had something to enjoy.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Visitation Church in Elm Grove, WI, followed by a Catholic Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Chuck's memory to St. Mary's Visitation Parish or Pius XI High School.
