Charles Saylor Obituary
Charles passed away Feb. 2, 2026 at the
age of 75 surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife, Roberta A. Saylor (Higgins) of Painesville, Daughters Manda West (Saylor) of Williamsfield, Lindsay English of Painesville , sister Audrey Porter (Martin) of White Pa., and twin brothers Robert and William Martin, both of Melcroft Pa.
Preceded in death are father Charles L. Saylor, step father David Martin, mother Ruth Martin (Horner) sisters Janet Knight (Saylor), Donna Snyder (Saylor), and Carol Layman (Martin).
He was a Marine vet and a Mason. Retired from Morton Salt after 48 years. He enjoyed fishing, camping and gardening. His favorite thing was wood working. Would spend hours in the garage making clocks , toys and anything out of wood.
He also looked forward to spending time with family and friends. Especially the grand children, Joseph Saylor (Emily), Jeston Yeater, Hannah Yeater (John), Hailey Yeater (Dustin), Charles English, and Logan English. Can't forget the great grand children Garrison Saylor, twins Amara and Liara Saylor, Samual Yeater, and Lillian Roth.
