Charles "Chuck" Schaub, 71, of Three Oaks passed away Thursday, Sept. 18, 2025, in his home surrounded by loving family members. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sommerfeld Chapel, 15 N. Barton St., New Buffalo.
Chuck was born on March 29, 1954, in St. Joseph to the late Dale and Jean (Casey) Schaub.
Chuck was a 1972 graduate of Eau Claire High School. He was married on Sept. 16, 1978, to Glenda Bolton in New Buffalo. They had just celebrated 47 wonderful years of marriage. He was employed at Robert Bosch Manufacturing in St. Joseph from 1975-2005 when he retired.
Chuck was a custom/ classic car enthusiast and was proud of his 1933 Ford Victoria. He enjoyed going to car shows, snowmobiling and camping. Chuck loved his family and friends and will be greatly missed. He was truly one of the "Good Guys."
Chuck is survived by his loving wife, Glenda; his adored daughter, Rachel (Stephen) Schaub-Evans of Three Oaks; sister, Cynthia (Earl Morse) Schaub of Eau Claire; sister-in-law, Janice Schaub of Eau Claire; aunt, Judy Kamps of Kalamazoo, Mich.; mother-in-law, Barbara Bolton; brother-in-law, Rusty, sister-in-law, Cindy and several nieces, a nephew and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, L. Jack Schaub.
A celebration of life service will take place at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 26, at Sommerfeld Chapel, New Buffalo. Visitation with the family precedes the service from 1-2 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's choice. Friends wishing to leave the family a message of condolence may do so at www.sommerfeldchapel.com.
