Charles dedicated 25 years of his life to the United States Navy, where he served with great honor and distinction, ultimately retiring with the rank of Commander. Following his military career, he continued to serve in a different capacity, faithfully safeguarding the community as the Chief of Security at the Landings for an impressive 21 years.
He leaves behind a legacy that is cherished by his devoted wife, Barbara, her two sons, their families, and his loving daughter and her family. Charles was not only a devoted family man but also a proud grandfather, with a total of 7 grandchildren who held a special place in his heart.

Charles was long time friend and wonderful host.
We shared many enjoyable social times together with a group of good friends.

My wife and I were deeply saddened over the passing of Charles Scobee. An insightful, highly intelligent and pleasant man who could always share an interesting story. The world was a better place with him in it. May his memory be a blessing.
