Charles Edward Seefeld, 30, of Bloomington, Illinois, and formerly of Marion, Iowa, passed away on Friday, October 10, 2025, at his home. Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Marion is assisting the family.

Charles was born on October 14, 1994, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Deborah Williams and Timothy Brenner. Charles was later adopted by Dale Seefeld. A dedicated professional in the automotive industry, Charles carved out a significant career working with renowned companies such as Rivian Motors and Tesla Motors. His expertise as a troubleshooter and mechanic was not merely a job to him; it was a passion that fueled his life. Colleagues and customers alike admired his skillful hands and the keen mind that enabled him to diagnose and resolve issues with remarkable precision. He approached every challenge with a can-do spirit and an infectious enthusiasm that inspired those around him. The memories of his contributions and spirit will remain in the hearts of family, friends, and colleagues.

Charles is survived and lovingly remembered by his mother, Deborah Seefeld, and her partner, Alan Mangin of Marion; his son, Jasper Seefeld; stepfather, Dale Seefeld of Joy, Illinois; and uncles, Jason Henry of Cedar Rapids, and John Williams of Davenport, Iowa.

Memorials in Charles’ memory may be directed to the family at the funeral home, 3855 Katz Drive Marion, Iowa 52302, to help defray expenses.
