Charles Wallace Seton Jr., 76 of Vero Beach, Florida passed away peacefully on July 20, 2025. Born August 25, 1948 in Shelby, Ohio, Charlie proudly served his country for 22 years in the United States Air Force, retiring as a Master Sergeant. A Vietnam War veteran, he dedicated his life to service and carried that spirit into everything he did. While stationed in Germany he developed a deep love for the country that also provided an opportunity to travel Europe. Charlie was a graduate of Valdosta State College and after retirement, enjoyed the peaceful waters of Florida, spending time fishing and boating. His hobbies included woodworking, loving on his dogs and in his younger years a love for blackjack. He is survived by his loving wife, Cindy Seton; his daughter, Jennifer Penn; his brother, Bruce Seton; and his sisters, Judy Seton and Marsha Duffy. He is also remembered by his former spouse, Becky Seton and the Lowery and Galloway families. Charlie was preceded in death by his parents, Charles W. Seton Sr. and Joyce Seton, and his sister, Teri Berryman. In accordance with his wishes, Charlie will be laid to rest at Arlington National Cemetery, a fitting honor for a man who gave so much in service to his country. Charlie will be remembered for his sense of humor and witty personality, love for family, unwavering patriotism, and the calm joy he found on the water.
