.Charles was a kind, loving, honest man. Great story teller and historian.
Being one of the older of the cousins I have many wonderful memories of growing up spending time on everyones farm, You crossed over Mary Mount Rd and there was Charles and Leonas place, Uncle Bert and Aunt Myrtles, Uncle Wendells, Grandpa Cecils and then the big house at the crossroads where the Shiracks all grew up, including Aunt Laura, Aunt Bernice, Aunt Thelma, Aunt Ardis, Uncle Bob, Uncle Don and a little sister, Myrl who passed away very young,1924. I loved them all so much. Still do.

Charles was a kind man and he and Leona always welcomed me and took care of all of us cousins who spent time on their farm. Those summer days in Kansas with my grandfather Cecil, Bert and Myrtle, and Charles' family are special memories.
