Born on May 3, 1949, Charles's journey was one marked by courage, from his service in the United States Army during the Vietnam War to his steadfast commitment to his family and community.
A proud graduate of Walled Lake High School, Charles's early life laid the foundation for a man who would become known for his strength of character and his generous heart. His service in the Army was a testament to his bravery and love for his country, qualities that he carried with him throughout his life. His hands were rarely still, and the fruits of his labor were not just objects of beauty but symbols of his dedication and skill.
Family was the cornerstone of Charles's life. He was a loving father to Jake, Ashley, and Travis, a caring brother to Shirley, and a doting grandfather and great-grandfather.
