Charles J. Simeone

Charles (Charlie) J. Simeone, age 70, of Staten Island, passed away Tuesday, September 2, 2025 after a long battle with cancer. Charlie was born to Louis and Miriam Simeone and graduated from Tottenville High School in 1973. Charlie worked as a plumber his whole life, both for New York City and as an independent contractor. Charlie loved fishing and was called "the Angler" by family and friends. He was an avid music lover and enjoyed going to concerts. He loved spending time with friends and family, especially his nieces Courtney and Ashley. He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Miriam and Louis Simeone. He is survived by his sister Lynne and brother-in-law Denis, sister Miriam and brother-in-law Stephen and beloved nieces Courtney and Ashley. A Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM on Monday at John Vincent Scalia Home for Funerals, Inc. located at 28 Eltingville Blvd Staten Island, New York 10312. Interment will follow in St Peter's Cemetery located at 52 Tyler Avenue, Staten Island, NY 10310. Arrangements included Private Cremation. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Sunday, September 7, 2025, at John Vincent Scalia Home for Funerals, Inc., 28 Eltingville Blvd, Staten Island, New York.
