Charles "Chuck" Raymond Simmons, born September 12, 1955, passed away on May 10, 2025. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, veteran, and hardworking business owner, Chuck lived a life of love, purpose, commitment, and grit.

He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Lu Ann (Curtis) Simmons; his children, Charles Ryan Simmons, Rusty Allen Boyd (Hailey), Ashley Ann Woolf, Chase Robert Simmons (Kari), and Laurie Lee Simmons; and his grandchildren, Brenden Lee Boyd, Bryce Anthony Boyd, Wyatt Lee Woolf, Lane Dalton Woolf, and Chandler Charles Simmons; his siblings, Deborah Jane Simmons D'Annunzio, William Howard Simmons, Tina Ann Bolejack (Rodney), Michael Derek Bray, and Michelle Roberta Post (Larry). He was preceded in death by his parents, Annie Joyce (Critch) Bray and Robert Donovan Bray.

Chuck proudly served in the U.S. Army, stationed in Germany, after graduating from Crowley High School in 1973. A self-made man, he spent 50 years in the trailer repair industry, with the last chapter devoted to building and running C&L Trailer Repair alongside his wife of 26 years, Lu Ann-a true partnership built on hard work and dedication.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
