Charles Mike Spinks

Charles Mike Spinks 74 of Lizella GA passed away on Wednesday November 19, 2025. Surrounded by family. A memorial service will be 4 :00PM Friday December 12, 2025 at FairHaven Funeral Home, 4989 Mount Pleasant Church Rd. Macon, GA. The family will greet friends one hour prior to service time and honor Mike's life. Pastor Phillip Johnston Will be officiating all services. Mike was born on January 19, 1951, in Macon, GA. to the late Mr. Charlie Franklin Spinks and Mrs. Addie Weaver Spinks. He retired from Marathon Oil Corporation. Mike was a man of many talents. He could do just about anything. Electrical-plumbing-carpentry-etc. He was the one to call when anything broke. If he didn't know how to fix it, he would get a book and figure it out. He was an exceptional man with many talents, which he gave freely of himself. Mike loved his family deeply. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He had an unwavering work ethic which he instilled in his children. One of his favorite sayings was "Did you learn anything"
His generosity and wisdom left lasting marks on those who knew him. He had an exceptional green thumb. He could grow and re-pot any flower or bush. The mountains were his favorite vacation spot. He enjoyed going to the car shows and craft festivals.
He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years. Pam Spinks; Sons; David Dewayne (Sara) Spinks. Jason Spinks, and Matthew (Danielle) Spinks. Brother Dennis Spinks, and grandchildren Macy Spinks and Devon Spinks.
His legacy of love, strength and wisdom will live on through his family and the many lives he touched. He will be truly missed.
