Charles Spurlock, Sr. Obituary
Charles Edward “Red” Spurlock, Sr., 80, of Folkston, GA passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2024. He was born in Ware County, GA on February 13, 1944, to the late Allen Dwayne Spurlock and Alliemae Martin Spurlock.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife; Laura Mae Reed Spurlock, a son; Chuck Spurlock, a grandson; Tony Geoghagan, and 3-siblings; W.L. Spurlock, James Spurlock and Shirley Soloman.
He is survived by his 3-children; Sandra (Darrell) Geoghagan, Charlotte (Paul) King, and Kenny (Charity) Spurlock, 7-grandchildren; Amber (Keith) Sweat, Jennifer (Jason) Love, Jessica (Boy) Lindsay, Christy Geoghagan, Paul King, Jr., Rivers King and Alyssa Spurlock, 14-great-grandchildren, and 4-siblings; George (Dale) Spurlock, Alphine (Jack) Clark, Tommy (Sandra) Spurlock, and Annie (Larry) Strickland.
A service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at Camp Pinckney Baptist Church with Bro. Tim Hall officiating. Burial will follow at Camp Pinckney Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Andrew Garvin, Wyatt Garvin, Keith Sweat, Gavin Spurlock, Jason Love and Darrell Geoghagan. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
